Nigerian delegation refused visas
The 78-member Nigerian delegation to this week’s Education International congress is stranded in Johannesburg because the Nigerian Embassy in South Africa has refused to clear them for Thai visas. The congress opens today in Thailand and EI leaders have appealed to Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria's president, to intervene personally.
