Vietnam minister predicts surge in college enrolments
Enrolments at universities and colleges across Vietnam will surge by 20 per cent over the next four years, education and training minister Nguyen Minh Hien has predicted. The number of tertiary students will rise from 118 to 140 per 10,000 people by the 2005-06 academic year, he told a conference on tertiary education in Hanoi.
