(Photograph) - University College London student Jane Clark, who was immobilised after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the road, took advantage of a new web-based teaching aid to continue studying at home. The aid, developed by UCL lecturer Cathy Key and Eyecue Solutions, ensured that Ms Clark, 19, completed the genetics course in her anthropology degree on a laptop from her home in Ingatestone, Essex. The game-like interface delivered an automatic marking system to give Ms Clark continuous feedback on her progress. Dr Key received work task results by email. Photograph: ULC
