The Liberal Democrats' lead in the recent poll of students' voting intentions is smaller than reported in The Times Higher , once a methodological change is taken into account. The poll, conducted in February by OpinionPanel Research, showed the Lib Dems polling 39 per cent of the student vote, Labour 29 per cent and the Conservatives 23 per cent.
