Legal experts at Glasgow University have relaunched their award-winning website giving guidance and information on the Lockerbie trial. The law school set up a Lockerbie trial briefing unit as a resource for those interested in the trial of the two Libyans accused of the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 in December 1988. The suspects are standing trial in the Netherlands under Scottish law - the first time a Scottish court has sat abroad.
Daily reporting of the trial will be through cooperation with BBC Online and a link with CNN Interactive, with the academics preparing weekly summaries and regular in-depth analyses of key developments.
The website, launched in January 1999, has already had more than a million hits.
