Another university has launched a campaign to help its new graduates find work when they emerge into the recession-hit job market. Manchester Metropolitan University's initiative, known as Talent@MMU, is seeking to raise awareness among employers of the skills that its graduates can offer. It will also encourage businesses to inform the university of any vacancies they may have. The campaign has been launched in part to mitigate the effect of a fall in the number of annual recruitment fairs being held, which the university said were down 50 per cent.
