Postgraduate students from the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Salford may apply for a new "Manchester masters" programme from this summer. The initiative, part of Innovation Manchester, offers ten places for students of any discipline to spend a year working in a variety of public relations, advertising, digital and design agencies and media companies. The scheme also lets the students live rent-free in the city.
