Masters scandal

The skills demonstrated by a fourth-year Scottish MA student are of a higher order than those found in a BA, typically requiring independent research and a breadth of knowledge that is comparable to a postgraduate MA. These degrees demonstrate attainment at MA level and should be called MAs.
