The 19th International Congress of the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI), 'MIE2005', will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 28 August to 1 September
Attendance is expected to reach 1000, with participants coming from the 26 European member countries of the EFMI. Scientists from other parts of the world also regularly attend this event. MIE2005 addresses all areas of bio-informatics, including both medical and bio-medical informatics.
The main theme of MIE2005 is the development of connections between bio-informatics and medical informatics. A panel of high level scientists will give keynote speeches, tutorials and workshop discussions
