More money to attract Fulbright scholars

From next year Fulbright scholars will receive roughly double the amount of money they do at present. Changes to the US-UK Fulbright Program have been brought about without an increase in funding. That means students will be fighting over fewer places each year. The Fulbright Commission's executive director, James Moore, said: "This increase in funding will help ensure that we attract the very top applicants."
