Natfhe's credibility gap

Leaflets from lecturers' union Natfhe for this week's strike complained of a "10 per cent gap between lecturers' and schoolteachers'

pay", adding that lecturers are paid £21,374 and teachers £25,746.

The Diary calculator suggests that this means lecturers are paid 17 per cent less than teachers, or that teachers are paid 20 per cent more than lecturers.
