The idea of installing Pounds 200 equipment that uses rainwater to flush the lavatory and water the flowerbeds appeals to over 90 per cent of people in the Leamington and Coventry areas. The study by Coventry University's school of the built environment suggests overwhelming support for a system of porous garden paths that double as water reservoirs, so long as cheaper water is one result.
