Northumbria University - Helping hand from law students

Law students are working with the charity Shelter to offer free legal advice to the homeless and badly housed. Under the collaboration, 24 final-year students of Northumbria University's Student Law Office handle cases passed on to them by Shelter's contact centre in Sheffield. The students deal with issues ranging from tenancy and eviction disputes to advice on rented housing in disrepair.
