The University of Abertay Dundee is collaborating with the Royal College of Nursing on a nurse practitioner degree course, the first of its kind in Scotland. The BSc course aims to produce nurses able to assess individual health needs, carry out basic treatment and refer cases to other professionals as well as having traditional nursing skills.
