Student rebels of the 1970s are hard to put down. One writes to the Warwick University student newspaper congratulating those who occupied Warwick's senate last term.
Describing himself as a veteran of the sit-ins and demonstrations in 1970, Steve Mayer suggested that, rather than the university ringing graduates - "many of them in influential positions" - to ask for donations, students should ring to ask for support in attacking fees.
