April 30, 2002

Brussels, 29 April 2002

The European Parliament has published a call for expressions of interest for various research services.

The European Parliament will compile a file of institutes and experts covering a number of fields, (full list available in the Official Journal at the reference below) with a view to issuing restricted invitations to tender in the research field.

Persons wishing to apply for inclusion on the file are invited to do so in accordance with the provisions in this notice.

For each specific contract in one of the fields, the authorising department will send an invitation to tender to all the candidates on the file, or to the ones who have been selected on the basis of the pre-selection criteria specific to the contract concerned.

The file stemming from this notice will be used exclusively for contracts where the value is estimated to be below the thresholds in the public contracts directives concerned.

The file will remain valid for a maximum of three years, and an initial selection for inclusion on the file will take place no later than 1 June 2002. Applications arriving after this date will however be assessed on a regular basis.
