Passing fancy

Edinburgh University medical researchers yesterday held a press conference on their survey of rugby injuries, accompanied by a student at the university, Gregor Townsend, who has more than a passing interest in their research. He is a Scottish rugby international who is out of the rugby world cup in South Africa because of injury.
