Students and young people who would never dream of making racist comments are liable to discriminate against people with mental health problems, according to a new study.
Research found that terms such as psycho, schizo, nutter and loony are commonly used by 61 per cent of young people.
The research was carried out by the Department of Health and the National Schizophrenia Fellowship and supported by the National Union of Students.
