(Photograph) - Students and staff at the University of Warwick could be cutting their payphone costs by up to half in the next year thanks to a new Mitel telecard system.
Cards, costing between Pounds 2 and Pounds 50 can be bought at campus outlets and used by keying in the PIN number printed on the card before dialling. The university is putting enabled phones in students' campus rooms and will reduce the number of payphones on campus as more are connected over the next few months.
