Platform to support development of research policies

The European Commission has published a prior information notice for a call for tenders for the creation of a platform to support the development of research policies in Europe.

The contracts referred to in the notice are the following:

- Platform to support the development of research policies in Europe: technology transfer and intellectual property regimes and their use

Estimated budget: between 1.2 and 1.5 million euro

- Platform to support the development of research policies in Europe: industrial R&D investment and determining factors

Estimated budget: between 1.7 and 2 million euro

- Platform to support the development of research policies in Europe: financing instruments/mechanisms for R&D in the public and private sectors

Estimated budget: between 1.2 and 1.5 million euro

- Platform to support the development of research policies in Europe: monitoring and analysis of national policies and measures to achieve the Barcelona objective for investment in European research (3% of GDP in 2010)

Estimated budget: between 1.2 and 1.5 million euro.

Remarks: The scheduled start date of the award procedure is the second half of 2003.
