Awards for PhD students undertaking fieldwork/data collection. These awards, offered to individuals, aim to help students establish themselves in their particular field. Preference will be given to research that both furthers geographical knowledge and also demonstrates applied benefits. Two awards will be offered in each of the following areas: physical environment; conservation/ sustainability; and society/ economy. Each award is worth £2000. Eligibility: Postgraduate students undertaking a PhD course.
