Ways to mitigate the impact of climate change on the United Kingdom will be investigated at a new Pounds 10 million national centre to be based at the University of East Anglia.
A consortium of nine institutions will bring together scientists, economists, social scientists and engineers at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research in Norwich and regional offices in Southampton and Manchester.
