Brussels, 06 Oct 2005
A conference on the present situation and forecasts for nanotechnology in materials, health and medical systems, and energy, will take place in Rome, Italy, from 4 to 5 November.
The conference will offer the opportunity to present the first results of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) Nanoroadmap (NRM) project, the main objective of which is to produce roadmaps that will point out the drivers of change, the expected directions of growth, scientific and technical challenges relevant for addressing research, and the application of nanotechnology in the fields of materials, health and medical systems, and energy.
Several well known experts from both the research and industrial community are expected to participate. A poster session will offer a further opportunity to present recent developments and applications the field.
