Students suffering pangs of guilt over the rankings assigned to their professors on the notorious US website RateMyProfessors.com have been handed a rare second chance. Self-confessed human error by the site's founder, John Swapceinski, and a flaw in back-up procedures means that the past days' ratings have been lost in cyberspace. Mr Swapceinski is now appealing for those ratings to be reposted.
