Province trails badly in venture capital stakes

Northern Ireland continues to lag far behind the rest of the United Kingdom in attracting venture capital, according to a study by the universities of Ulster and Southampton. Last year Pounds 20 million of venture capital was invested in Northern Ireland, just 0.7 per cent of the UK total.
