Heriot-Watt University's Edinburgh Engineering Virtual Library, the free, non-profit gateway to engineering resources on the Internet (www.eevl.ac.uk/), has been redesigned. It now has an Egyptian look featuring pyramids (symbols of engineering prowess) and an "EEVL eye" logo based on the eye of Horus. Superstitious engineers will be glad to hear that this "was a symbol of victory over evil".
