Cornwall College gave better marks to students in building studies than their work merited, the Quality Assurance Agency said this week.
The QAA found that "assignments are sometimes graded above the levels merited by the work".
The QAA report describes the findings of a reinspection of the college's higher national diploma and higher national certificate in building studies. It says: "Overall, the reviewers have no confidence in the academic standards achieved by the programmes in building studies at Cornwall College."
