A £2 million internship scheme has been announced for students in Scotland. With the support of the Scottish Funding Council, the Third Sector Internship Programme aims to help students find paid work experience while at university. The programme will be run by Queen Margaret University, the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations and The Open University in Scotland. Alan Gilloran, vice-principal of Queen Margaret, said: "This groundbreaking project offers a win-win situation for the future of graduate employment."
