Brussels, 07 Mar 2003
Three meetings on radiation protection research will be held in Brussels on 26 March and 10 and 18 April.
The main aim of the three meetings is to assess the progress of individual funded projects under the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5) in three specific areas of radiation protection research: epidemiology and retrospective dosimetry, radioecology and protection of the workplace.
It is hoped that as a result of the meeting, the progress and achievements of such projects can be disseminated to the wider research community with a view to promoting further integration at a European level.
Furthermore, the meetings will provide an opportunity for broad and open discussion of future research needs in this area.
