REF 2021: Anthropology and development studies

The anthropology and development studies unit of assessment table is led by the London School of Economics in anthropology, with a GPA of 3.61. 

It is followed by the University of East Anglia in second position, with a GPA of 3.55, and the University of Manchester (development studies) in third place with a GPA of 3.49.

At a national level the Anthropology and Development Studies UoA has a GPA of 3.21, with 40 per cent of its submission rated 4*. 733.44 FTE staff were submitted to this UoA.
