The London School of Economics and Political Science topped the table for social work and social policy, improving its GPA from 3.67 to 3.81, which helped it climb from second place in 2014. The University of Bristol went from 10th to second by increasing its GPA from 3.16 to 3.69.
The University of Oxford fell from first in 2014 to sixth this time as its GPA fell from 3.72 to 3.52. The University of York – third in 2014 – came 11th after its GPA dropped slightly from 3.39 to 3.37.
At a national level the Social Work and Social Policy UoA has a GPA of 3.04, with 33 per cent of its submission rated 4*. 2105.24 FTE staff were submitted to this UoA.
