An "education city" being developed in Malaysia might soon have a UK partner. Royal Holloway, University of London, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Malaysian firm KLEC Ventures. Kuala Lumpur Education City, which is in advanced planning stages in the nation's capital, is to combine a teaching and learning community with "healthy living and leisure". It is expected to have a faculty and student population of about 110,000 and a residential population of 30,000 by 2030.
