Russian conference to examine laser and optics applications

A conference on laser and optics applications will take place in Novosibirsk, Russia, from 9 to 13 September 2002.

The event, organised by the VDI Technology centre physical technologies with the support of the European Commission, will report on and review the state of the art and future trends in the fields of laser and optical metrology.

Discussions will cover a variety of fields of application, including science, solutions for industry, medicine, life sciences, new technologies, the environment and energy.

Special emphasis will be given to innovative and qualified papers covering the transfer of fundamental and applied scientific results as well as novel methods and technologies and intelligent measuring techniques.
