Russian students and academics will get easier internet access under an education ministry scheme to establish internet centres, deputy education minister Alexander Kondakov has announced. Speaking at an international seminar on donor cooperation organised by the European Training Foundation in Moscow last month, Kondakov said the creation of internet centres in 33 institutions throughout Russia would ease cooperation between universities and international organisations interested in aiding the development of Russia's educational infrastructure.
