Science communication prize for young researchers opened

May 31, 2002

Brussels, 30 May 2002

Young scientists who can express in words the activity and theory behind their research could win up to 800 euro by writing an article.

The competition, open to young scientists in any of the Newly Independent States (NIS), is run by INTAS (international association promoting cooperation with scientists from the NIS). Candidates must have received a grant from INTAS to apply.

Articles should be no more than 1,000 words and the top three articles will win 800 euro, 400 euro and 200 euro respectively. Making the activity or results of the research carried out accessible to a wide audience will be one of the keys to winning.

Articles should be submitted no later than 13 September and the winners will be announced in November.
