Search for inspiring oldie

England's most erudite oldie is to be honoured with a Pounds 500 prize from the Department of Education and Employment, as part of a drive to promote lifelong learning to retired people. A search for England's oldest and most inspiring learner was launched after research showed learning in later life has a positive impact on health.
