A-level students were warned this week that they could fail to secure a place to study medicine or veterinary medicine if they do not register for a university admission test by September 30. The biomedical admissions test is used by Cambridge and Oxford universities and University College London to select medical students, and for entry to veterinary courses at Cambridge, Bristol University and the Royal Veterinary College. The test is run by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate.
