London University's School of Slavonic and East European Studies is set to merge with University College in a move that further centralises higher education provision in the capital.
A SSEES working party voted unanimously to approve the merger. The decision will have to be approved by a special school council next Wednesday before being ratified by university authorities. It is thought that the deal will allow SSEES to remain in its current location in Senate House.
