Small firm winner

The Department for Education and Employment has launched a Pounds 1 million training initiative to help small firms. Groups of ten or more companies are being invited to bid for awards of up to Pounds 50,000 to assist with the funding of training ideas. Two competitions will be held for businesses with fewer than 200 employees, one in September and one in December.
