Speed trap

Any students nicked for speeding in Swansea can plausibly try blaming their institutions for putting ideas in their heads. No sooner does Swansea Institute of Higher Education decide to put a Benetton Formula One car on display outside its new technology block, than the University of Wales, Swansea announces that the land-speed record-breaking THRUST car - partly designed by UWS engineers - will be shown on campus for two days this summer.
