Stirling University is today advertising 11 posts in The THES totalling more than £360,000 a year, following its success in the research assessment exercise.
Christine Hallett, deputy principal for research, said Stirling's research funding had increased by about 32 per cent and it had earmarked £500,000 to boost research this year.
The posts include four new chairs, in banking and finance, health psychology, organisational behaviour and analysis and sports policy.
