The Higher Education Academy subject centres, in conjunction with Toshiba, have launched the 2006 National Student Awards.
The essay competition asks higher education students to discuss how their experience of their course compared with expectations. All 24 centres will run competitions, and each centre will nominate an individual winner who will be entered for the overall award.
The winner will be announced at the HEA conference at Nottingham University from July 3 to 5. The deadline for entries is February 17, 2006.
