Sheffield University is launching a new centre for the study of genocide. The Sheffield Centre for the Study of Genocide and Mass Violence will have an interdisciplinary approach, and its concerns will include topics such as genocide and environmental change, competition for resources, mass violence, trauma research, colonialism and post- colonialism, memory and identity politics, and prevention studies.
