The University of Wales, Swansea, has been awarded nearly Pounds 1.3 million by the European Social Fund to run four information technology-based projects. The money will finance projects aimed at helping small businesses; improving women's access to education; developing employment opportunities in the information society; and developing self-employment prospects for the disabled.
