A historic building in the centre of Swansea is to be transformed into a centre for sustainable design. The academic department will be housed in the former Swansea Central Library after plans formulated by Swansea Metropolitan University were approved by the city council. The development will also rehouse Swansea Met's School of Architectural Glass and School of Industrial Design.
