The horrors of abduction, torture and murder by governments are coming under scrutiny at a Glasgow University conference today.
The university's department of forensic medicine and science is hosting a conference on pioneering forensic techniques to investigate and exhume mass graves in countries such as Croatia, Argentina, Guatemala and Chile. The conference is part of a four-week course which is being attended by an international audience of forensic scientists, dentists and police officers.
