The University of Wales, Lampeter, has launched its own beer as part of its anniversary celebrations. The 175 Anniversary Ale was unveiled last weekend at the Lampeter Food Festival on the university campus. Described as "an aromatic, fruity, full-bodied premium bitter with a chestnut brown colour, malty, nutty flavour with citrus hop and fruit character", it is brewed in the traditional manner by Bragdy Ceredigion Brewery, a family-run craft micro brewery.
