The London School of Economics

October 6, 2000

* The London School of Economics this week launched its first MBA programme, in collaboration with the New York Stern School of Business and graduate business school HEC Paris.

Anthony Giddens, director of the LSE, said: "World-class business people demand world-class learning. A key difference from other MBA programmes is the integration of economic, political and social policy in the context of globalisation, which draws on the LSE's knowledge and expertise in these crucial management areas."

The course starts in September 2001.
