Thumping good time

Lecturer Katie Bull and research and knowledge transfer co-ordinator Chrissie Ferngrove took part in Winchester University's first 'stress- busting' drumming workshop last week. Enthusiasm for the event was drummed up by a 2006 lecture given at Winchester by Tim Smitt of the Eden Project, who lauds the use of drumming to build morale and reduce stress. The session was led by Winchester tutor and professional musician Dennis Eluyefa.
