The theory that the best feuds always involve people who have much more in common than they would really like to confess is supported by alumni to be proud of Nos 114 and 115 - Welsh Labour MPs Llew Smith and Ron Davies.
Mr Smith, who was allegedly threatened with expulsion from the party - and has had in addition to endure BBC radio renaming him Llaw - is a graduate of Cardiff University, one of whose pre-parliament jobs was with the Workers' Education Association.
